The IOPL is a multi-partisan, non-profit, research and educational institution formed to improve the overall quality of political and governmental leadership in North Carolina at the state and local levels.
The purpose of the Institute of Political Leadership is to identify and develop North Carolina’s "citizens with potential" into the state’s future political leaders.

Since the goal of Political Publications is to provide self-learning opportunities for our political leaders of the future, it is only natural to take advantage of an opportunity to promote one of our oldest, most respected political educators, the IOPL.
