From the pages of The Campaign Manual, this section we will review important aspects of the campaign plan that must not be overlooked or under-looked. In addition, the section will note important differences and variations between the types and sizes of campaigns.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, this section contains sample campaign plans that have been used, and that work. These plans are in no way generic. They contain an analysis and strategy that results in the timeline, the media operations, the fundraising operations, research and development, field operations, and the candidate’s activities. All laid out in an organized plan that can be followed and adapted to your own situation and style.
The Campaign Manual was updated and edited by Art Murray and Jean Justus in collaboration with its original author, Sal Guzzetta. It is made available in both the hard cover and the soft cover versions as well as this series of eBook lessons. The manual is widely used by campaign operatives, campaign educators, including campaign schools and Political Science educators.
